Summary:

Years later, the Shigusa Guardians rise to power as the lone beacon of hope in the fight against Demonkind. Haruto, one of the Guardians, announces new trials to recruit new members.
While these new recruits are skilled, they are missing something-- and are easily overwhelmed when faced with the final test -- fighting a restrained Demon. That's when Muzuki storms in. Drunk, carefree, brutal.
Haruto tests her metal and takes note of Muzuki's unrelenting charm. But Muzuki is climbing notoriety-- not just by the Guardians... but by the Demons themselves.
